The best way to be able to understand the Scriptures is to sift the Word through a filter of love, which is the heart and Spirit of Christ. This will ensure what we “hit the mark” of loving the Father and others as we fulfill the Father’s Instructions. I would say that I would most definitely still be at war with the holy spirit and just cast off God and think only about me and my desires. To think that I was praying for understanding and to know the Bible so that I may understand specific things for a relationship I'm in only to find this and understanding along the way is giving me chills and hope that even if I don't have this relationship with this woman it's okay because I prayed for her out of love just in the same love as christ has for us who aren't perfect and there is so much Majesty to God the father that I'm crying because I pray I'm glad he's with me even when it's one step at a time.

How to understand the the scripture we read

This did not help me. The Bible is very confusing what exactly are they trying to say is it literal or is it not. Obviously I understand some things but then I'll read a passage and then I'll watch a pastor talk about it and apparently I didn't get it at all it's very confusing confusing and yes I pray. I have a very analytical brain I'm told and I'm told that's the problem will God gave me this brain I need to figure out how to make it clear.

Understanding the bible as a christian is undoubtedly SUPER hard to understand if youre a christian and youre not entirely sold out for Jesus Christ. If youre living according to the flesh and have a foot in the church and a foot in the world, the bible is not going to make sense whatsoever. You must have renounced sin and actively live a holy life devoted to the lordship of Jesus Christ and "make no provision for the flesh." As the bible clearly states. Actively living holy will put you in alignment with the bible and you will be able to understand it better than a novel. Very important to not make any provision for the flesh

If written by a divine hand The Bible would be be simplified down to the point where it could not be Misinterpreted by anybody, A person should be able to pick it up read it and not need a pastor or a church To explain it to them.
