hp m1212nf print ok but faded copy, hangs up freezes FIX; cold reset

HP M1212nf MFP printer

try this FIX if:
A. print is OK but photocopy is faded
B. printer hangs up or freezes
C. if you want to restore printer to factory settings

1. press & hold RIGHT arrow + X then press POWER BUTTON
2. when you see "Permanent Storage Init" release RIGHT arrow + X
3. select Language using left/right arrow then press OK
4. select Location/Country using left/right arrow then press OK
5. wait until printer completes 'initializing'
