Tiffin and La Mesa Repaired our Water-Damaged RV: What We Found at Pick-Up Nearly Three Months Later
Показать описание
In this video we travel to La Mesa RV to pick up our Tiffin Wayfarer 25RW that had received catastrophic water damage from a leaking slide. After three months in the shop, were the repairs done to acceptable specifications or does our tale of woe continue? We provide answers to those questions and more right here. We also discover a DIY repair for our over-sensitive Girard awning. And we find the procedure is easier than we expected.
We received a call from La Mesa RV to come pick up our water-damaged RV, and we were told that all the repairs were completed. While this was not entirely true, we have mixed feelings about the repair. Ultimately, only time will tell if we will suffer long-term consequences from this slide failure.
In case you haven't seen our previous video; Just as we were ending our Eastern United States Road Trip we encountered a catastrophic failure of the slide-out in our new 2024 Tiffin Wayfarer 25RW. We brought the RV to the service department at La Mesa where it has been for the past three months.
We have been working closely with the La Mesa RV service team as well as our rep from Tiffin. We still have no idea when we will get our RV back, and whether or not it can even be repaired.
Will we be able to continue our adventures in our Wayfarer, or is this the end for us?
Stay tuned as we document our trials and tribulations in dealing with issues associated with our brand new class C RV.
