If your SolarEdge Inverter is in "Night Mode" during the daytime hours you may need to have a technician repair the system. See the troubleshooting guide below. This is usually evidence of electrical problems. Make sure you are safe and qualified to be working on SolarEdge Systems.
**SolarEdge Night Mode Trouble Shooting Sets below**
"Get Your System Back to 'Normal Mode'
An inverter can slip into Night Mode anytime it recognizes less than 6Vdc from the panels and optimizers. When this happens during daylight hours, it usually means there is an issue. Before contacting support, try following these steps:
Update the inverter firmware to at least 4.16.19
Check the junction box for loose connections
AC Voltage (all phase to N, phase to phase, phase to G and N to G measurements to the 0.1V)
Open Air string DC Voltages
Test each string individually
Take a clear picture of the inverter top and DC disconnect without covers
If applicable, take clear pictures of any thermal damage"
Please be careful and smart and safe!
