Lifelong Celtic fan here . I had the privilege of being a steward at paradise for the last 2 seasons . I was situated up in the jock stein stand next to the disabled area and watched every home game for free. When the whole stadium is doing the huddle I swear to god the whole stand moves

That was at the 50th anniversary of when Celtic won the European Cup, today it's called Champions League after defeating Inter in the final in Lisbon 1967, with the team that came to be known as the Lisbon Lions.
They played Hearts the day I think it was and the Hearts players made a guard of honor for the Celts when they entered for the lineup and everyone were singing.

Back in the 60s 1965 to be exact this song = You'll Never Walk Alone by Gerry and The Pacemakers was top pf the Music Charts in the UK, Celtic fans started to sing it at every game, they had been singing it for about three months when they played Liverpool in the Semi-Final of the European Cup Winners Cup 1st Leg of this European Game, where as usual the Celtic Fans were singing it, after that game in the return leg at Liverpool the Liverpool Fans adopted it from the Celtic Fans and made it there own, but without the Celtic Fans singing it first, it would never have become the football song it has become. Everybody who follows football thinks that this was Liverpool's song first, due to many factors, particularly as England has 10 times the population of Scotland with wider media coverage worldwide. With Liverpool's European success in the 70s and 80s and more, they could reach a far greater audience than Celtic could during that period.
