Looks like the fish got off the hook and you called it a release. Please explain what made that release and not a lost fish.

roll cast should release surface tension of the line by pulling with left hand, then cast with one hand

Not impressed with this instructor. Some of the components in his cast are simply wrong. His upper arm action on the forward stroke is way off.

If you watch his body mechanics he’s using his bottom hand as the fulcrum despite saying the opposite.
