Me and my my have Shadow 2s. I sent them to Cajun Gun Works. They installed the Shadow 2 Upgrade Kit in each handgun. The kit took a great tigger and made it phenomenal. The guns shoot very flat. We live in Texas and have had no issues with the aluminum grips being slippery in the heat.

Shadow 2s are pretty hard on red dots - not many people put Holosuns on them - they usually do SROs. Something about the steel frame and how the slide cycles beats up red dots a fair amount - I would definitely do a trijicon. Eemann tech makes a flattish curved trigger that's probably better for DA than the straight flat trigger. I know you don't care about competition - but you might bone up on the whys of why the gun is the way it is - Shadow 2s don't compete head to head against 2011s (generally). If you do carry that gun - do not do an extended firing pin, reduced power firing pin spring - the gun will not be drop safe at that point.

Been carrying a CZ for a while, I still feel more confident with them over even my Glock 34. The 34 is my Tupperware gun where the CZ goes with me where I really need to depend on it. I have the compact CZ, CZ 75 tactical and the stainless 75b.

I have the single action only model and love it. The only real issue I’ve had with the gun are the aluminum grips the gun comes with - they’re beautiful and grip well in moderate temperatures, but they can get uncomfortable when cold or warm. A decent set of Lok Grips fixed that instantly. Great pistol, magnificent trigger, great fun. A bit heavy for constant carry, though.

A friend got a CZ Shadow II, and it came ready for a red dot sight if you buy the mounting plate. He bought a mounting plate for it but it didn't fit properly for him to mount the small Holosun red dot. I did a bit of machining on the plate and got it to fit right. He is very happy with the gun now.

I don't think anyone has "discovered" that this can be a cheaper alternative to a 2011, given that it was created and marketed that way from the beginning, especially since this is the second gen of the gun. Everyone and their dog runs these at competitions now, and for good reason. I don't have one yet, for a couple of reasons, but I can't deny how great a gun it is. Good review.

Been a CZ guy since my first handgun was a cz75 and have been hooked on them ever since. Best feeling/shooting pistols I've ever used.

I love the fact that the 9 and 40 magazines are interchangeable. I bought my CZ’s during Obama and then ended up getting probably 20-40 SW magazines for my 9 mm as they were 2x the price and scarce. they work flawlessly.

Great video, I enjoyed the content. I think the CZ Shadow 2 is a great choice for self-protection/carry. The Shadow 2 is slightly heavier than a Colt 1911, or a full size revolver. It does share similar, height, length ect. dimensions. It can be carried "cocked and locked" in SA like the 1911 or DA like the revolver. It is very accurate with a high capacity for firepower. All that is needed is, a good quality holster for carry potential.

That is a beautiful work of Art. I have a TZ-75 series 88. which is an Italian copy of a CZ 75. Mine was stainless coated in FLA and my mom bought it for me way back in the mid 80's. I'm sorry I never looked for the .41 action express barrel an extra mags for that obsolete round. I love it, flawless (ALL METAL). Remember a company by the name of RAM LINE? they made 17 round magazines before the magazine ban went into affect years ago.

I have a CZ P07 that I added this flat faced trigger to. I feel it's a much better fit than the factory curved one. Also, look into M-Carbo Spring kit for the omega system(Sp01, P07, Shadow, etc). Took my double down to like 6.5lbs and the single is scary soft and smooth, somewhere around 2lbs, maybe 2.5 max.

This is one of my favorite carry guns. Shooting steel at 50 yards is almost too easy. The accuracy, controllability and reliable make the shadow 2 an awesome self-defense pistol. The factory grip panels are ok to me since they do not rub my skin like sand paper under my shirt. The front and back grip texturing provide more than enough grip.

I have concealed carried a shadow 2 since 2018.

Dude I know this isn't the right video to comment on...but your vids helped me make my decision to get a Glock 19 Gen 5 as my EDC.. in my country we only get a license for 1 firearm.

I love my P01 Omega. It ended up becoming my EDC.
Few things:
- The stock rubber grips on the gun start to get tough to hold after prolonged shooting. Once the palms start getting sweaty it doesn't feel as good to hold. I ended up going with G10 grips from Lok Grips. (I personally prefer the palm swell grips but they make both palm swell and slim). The g10 material is much more aggressive and really locks in your hold on the gun, but is never uncomfortable.
- Second thing is, cajun gun works makes a spring kit you can put into the gun that reduces the pull weight of the single action by about half. They make the full trigger kit of course, but the spring is like $40, and makes that single action still feel weighty enough that it serves as a "safety" but its MUCH lighter than it is stock. Absolutely recommend buying it. How that trigger feels with that spring kit in it is how it should've come from the factory. It doesn't affect the double action at all either.

If you find you like DA/SA firearms, look into the Sig P226/228/229. There is a nickel boron sear that makes it so smooth.
My prediction is that it will fire very similarly to a 1911/2011. It basically looks like an upgraded version of a 1911, though I'm sure the internals are pretty different. The way your arm lines up with the bore axis and the smooth trigger pull will make you pretty darn accurate.

I have the CZ 97B (basically a 75 in .45acp) with similar slim aluminum grips, live in the Nevada desert and have ZERO problems holding on to my gun while firing in 115 degree heat. Those grips are awesome

I've always edc'd all metal full-sized (Beretta 92, p226, cz, etc) it's nice to have the option to melee an attacker with the pistol if ya run out of ammo.

I have 3 of the Strike Industries Gridlock hand guards and love all three of them, I think they'er the best looking Handguards on the market sturdy as a pipe. I use the 17 inch on my 16inch barrel with the SLR comp, give it the suppressor look.Have the Gridlock 8.5 inch on 10.5 inch .50 Cal Beowulf pistol I just built.

Buying a p01, shot one at my local range and it is now the one I want! Drilled the center of my target better than my own tool did! It was dirty and missing two dots on the sights too! Awesome tool!
