Creating original characters that are unique to you!

My most recent OC was made completely on accident after I was sketching 😅

I either overplan my OCs to the point I don't draw them at all because I never feel ready... or make them in the act after an spontaneous burst of inspiration (and then having to redo their design 5 times because I need to update their lore).

honestly, ive made a lot of OCs, but theres so many good characters out there that i really struggled to care that much about my OCs compared to already existing ones, except the ones that were super self indulgent haha. so uh anyone struggling with that, try it i guess lol

thanks, this was so helpful! I've never designed OCs like this, it's* more like I draw random characters and see if I could change their design/develop them later, so I'll have to try this!

i never have intent for my characters like. i make them and then i can stuff them i guess? but to be fair most of my ideas get scrapped
