Originally composed for his virtuoso clarinetist friend Heinrich Baermann, Concertino is Weber's premiere clarinet masterpiece, one of which forms the backbone of a clarinetist's repertoire. Carl Maria von Weber's "Concertino for Clarinet" is part of the List A Repertoire for Level 10 Clarinet, prescribed by the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. This work was originally performed at a Clarinet Music Examination in 2011.

This video is part of a fun personal project series to experiment with advanced video production techniques, including double system recording. Working with accompanist Rory Cowal, the audio was first captured in a collaborative recording session to serve as the foundation for the visual content. Experimenting with multi-angle recording, a DSLR was placed at multiple locations in the studio to obtain multiple perspectives of the performance. B-roll footage was additionally created and incorporated to supplement the atmosphere of the music.
