I'm half Iranian and half Polish! My mom's the Pol and my dad's from Iran. And Nowruz is my all time favourite holiday. It's wonderful to spend time with family (:

My mom is half and was raised in Kansas in a similar situation. I'm now 23 and afraid to dig into my roots.
Kvon is so right though. Iranians are some of the most welcoming people and it's never too late to make new discoveries.

I worked for a mixed family in Houston for a few years. He was Persian, she was American. He was one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met, she was a sweetheart & their surprise twin daughters were adorable. When he wasn’t cracking jokes he taught me some important realities about what the world has learned from Persia. It was eye opening. I still think of them & hope they’re as happy now as they were then!!

My dad was Iranian. He didn’t really share much of his culture, he was so busy learning to be an American. he loved the USA, he was like a kid in the candy store! I feel I missed out but I did get to go to Iran in the early 70’s.

My father's family is Lebanese while my mother's is "regular white" and as I get older I am trying to be more in touch with my heritage. Such an amazing and inspiring story!

Wow. I regret I didn't watch this sooner🥺. Born and raised in Iran, still livin' in Iran. It would my honour to share this culture with everyone curious and adventurous😁 And thank you dear Kvon for your efforts and sacrifice. Wish you the best

Can’t believe I had not already seen this video. As a Persian who lives in Canada I really appreciate that you shared the details of this holiday and it’s rich history with Americans who probably had no sweet clue about it.

Thank you man. U doing a great job showing the world what great culture we have in iran. Unfortunately the world doesn't have a good point of view about us persians. U doing a great job. Keep it up.

Everyone is talking about how funny and attractive he is, where as I’m just focused on how satisfying it was when the shadow if his mic matched up perfectly with his nostril and completely disappeared
