This is a nice book on mathematical physics. It is a Dover book so it is a reprint and it is affordable.

I love Dover reprints. They put out another one: Mathematics of Classical and Quantum Physics by Byron an Fuller. When I took the couse years ago we were given mimeographed copies because it was out of print.

"There's a really nice smell emanating from this chapter"
I love that feeling lol

I wonder if an old physics book, one which still advocates the aether theory, would smell like ether?

The reprints don't include the scent? ;-)

I've been buying these dover books and I'm not getting these smells. Where do I post a picture of my math book tree shelf that I've built because of your channel? It's really nice, because it's a tree shelf.

I'd really love to have this book as a hardcover, can't find it anywhere :(

Thank you for the suggestion, literally just bought it lol

Is this book relatively easy to read, compared to say, an analysis book? I am reading a newer theoretical physics book, and it's very very dense and abstract. But still love it.

In my view, some of these books can be clear and good enough to present specific topics in some chapters and that is why students tend to go on studying Mathematical Physics from other great mathematcal physics books which actually bring the very same limitations. Probably, theses books have been written with some particular course in mind, it is challenging,

I own this book. The book is a brief, terse summary of the topics in mathematical physics. If you already know the material before you read the book, then you may appreciate the material covered in the book. However, if you don't, then it's not an easy book to learn from and there exists better books.

It's crazy that whenever I search for a topic like differential equations, you came up with a video. Looks like you can definitely read my mind 😮😮

Do you have any of Hall and Knight's books? I have Elementary Algebra for Schools, inherited from my Grandparents. It is an amazing book. I always wanted Higher Algebra.

Can't wait to buy this book as I prefer physical copies. I wish I knew more physics. You inspire me a lot Math Sorcerer and I won't stop saying that cuz it's true 😊

Can you recommend a book that deals with physics, but primarily with experimentation and data gathering, and good practices in data-centric physics problems?

Did you know that precision of the physics are mathematicaly absolute?

Had that one in High School. Got me started with Physics.

Could you make a video to mathematical highlevel/modern physics (like an overview or so)? I.e. topological or algebraic qft, gruop theory / Lie theory for standardmodell, General relativity, quantum gravity, string theorie and so on.
