The reason Ryan doesn't move his head, hips or feet is to not telegraph his punches. Everyone knows ya more likely to punch from the opposite site of where you move your head to, and punch from the same side of what you lean into prior. Thats more the reason why Tank is annoyed with it, and also that a left hook after a jab tends to get passed tanks guard as he drops his arm and favors moving back -- thats part of the philly shell defense.

You don't box from 7 years old as a kid and not understand footwork and head movement -- its just that Ryan intentionally doesn't do it so his punches are not telegraphed. Tank understands that very well -- his whole game plan is around countering telegraphed punches. Its exactly this kind of style that Ryan has that will make it more difficult for Tank.
