Alesia Rudnik, Co-option of Technology: Digital Repression and Legitimation Strategies of the Belarusian Regime
UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies, the Ostrogorski Centre and the Francis Skaryna Belarusian Library and Museum organised the 9th Annual ‘Belarusian Studies in the 21st Century.’ The conference took place on 26–27 April 2024 in the hybrid format.
The conference serves as a multidisciplinary forum for Belarusian studies in the West and offers a rare networking opportunity for researchers of Belarus.
The organising committee included Prof Yarik Kryvoi (co-chair), Prof Andrew Wilson (co-chair), Dr Alena Marková, Peter Braga, and Dr Karalina Matskievich.
Conference partners: the Journal of Belarusian Studies, British Association of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies (BASEES), Anglo-Belarusian Society.
