The Facebook "Whistleblower" Frances Haugen brings all the markings of classic propaganda. This nonsense has descended from the heavens to inform us that we are all incapable of deciding for ourselves what we say on social media. Her "Leak" is little more than a cherrypicked joke, meant to show the most ridiculous examples of online shitposts and paint them in the light of some kind of danger to society. So why is it then, that the media and the government is taking this mindless claptrap so seriously?

I agree with your view in the video. One of the things I do not like about plenty of modern day websites is them trying to put you in an echo chamber, something I noticed with youtube from the early 2010s onward. Less regulation and also less of the echo chamber effect will make online policing smaller/less effective I suspect.

9:39 that's actually bullshit on your part, facebook IS indeed designed to both addict and infuriate its users. Like all big tech socials honestly, but that doesn't change the fact the system still is hellbent on making you an addict and an angry one at that. The addiction part is also why I don't agree with this "they're free adult human beings, they can do what they want" argument you're using here. You're not exactly "free" if your brain is biologically rewired to make you come back to some activity (which is exactly what addictions are: a rewiring of the brain).
