This year, we've foregone the "reinvented" or "new spins" on Thanksgiving recipes. We've opted instead to take a look at the classics we've grown up eating and make them as simply as possible with the freshest ingredients. This special presentation is the culmination of that effort. There are 13 recipes in this video and links to each of the full written versions that include substitutions, tips and tricks on our website. They're here to serve as a starting point for your own classic Thanksgiving day meal.

When I was young and made my first turkey I left the bag inside I didn’t know. But it was good.

Wouldn't you need a deeper turkey pan, with all that butter and juices? Oh my gosh, looks delicious! Alot of great tips, such as thick onions under turkey, lemons inside. Full preparation of turkey is great 👍 👍👍

We watched this video and everything looked so good! My wife completely changed the food that we have on Thanksgiving. The turkey was Awesome! This was the best and juiciest turkey I have ever had, No really, as I was curving the turkey turkey juice was all over my knife. The stuffing was so easy to make and absolutely delicious. No more stovetop stuffing in this house.
Thank you so much for your video, these recipes will be handed down thru generations.
Again Thank you for sharing your recipes with my family.

My absolute favorite food for Thanksgiving is the stuffing.
I could just eat that and be happy without anything else.
Your stuffing recipe is perfect, easy, looks so 👍 good.

Great to see the basics from the beginning—just what a newbie needs. :)
I don’t trim the skin, I let it melt to make extra gravy. Salt & pepper. Stuff with fresh herbs — parsley sage rosemary thyme. And 1/4 onion. + a stick of butter. That way the dripping are flavored an all I need to do is bring all this dripping and stock to a boil and stir in a slurry of potato starch and cold stock. Super easy. 🍗

This is such a great compromise on technique! It makes it so much easier than the full blown cheffy versions, but it's still elevated. And I've never had dressing with egg in it, but it makes complete sense. I'm going to do a dry run of this with a whole chicken and see how the family likes it so they don't Marie Antoinette me on Thanksgiving 😁. Happy Fall 2023, everyone! 🧡🙏🕊🍂👻🎃🕷🍁🕸️🦃🥧

We make cornbread dressing its a mixture of half cornbread and half toasted french bread.
We use chicken stock. Everything else is the same. I do use more broth so dressing is more moist. Make sure your cornbread doesn’t have sugar. Don’t use Jiffy cornbread mix.
Use a cornmeal mix.
