TEMCo TH3030 Box Offset EMT Bender (Little Kicker for ½ and ¾' Conduit)

Temco's lil' kicker. ½ & ¾" EMT conduit with the same tool.

Never thought I'd use nor need a box offset bender... but I gotta say, this one's growing on me.

Some cons:
1) it's an extra tool that needs to be carried around
2) it's somewhat expensive
3) guys that are new to conduit bending need to practice doing their offsets by hand first

However, if you already are well versed in the art of running conduit, THEN there is nothing wrong with using something that will speed up the process a little bit. Your time is better spent doing more important stuff.

As far as bang-for-the-buck, the Temco unit can't be beat. It's half the investment of the Greenlee models.
(1 unit bends 2 sizes of conduit. )

Kickers can truly shine on larger projects. The jons with lots of outlet boxes or lots of prefabricated runs.
Secure the tool on top of a job box or a work station, and go to town!

I especially appreciate this tool when it comes to adding an offset to a 90° stub.

Have you ever used kickers before? Does your company provide them on conduit jobs?❓

This is nice when you have a hunnert boxes lined up down a wall in a warehouse that you're offsetting into.

This is awesome I love it but not sure if it’s good for commercial use. Definitely good for sure though. I want kids to learn how

Its cool but only really works for smaller junction/utility boxes. Probably not cheap either>>>bender.

Offset is backwards. The video is sped up, as the tool is definitely not that fast, but is still pretty quick.

Most guys wouldn’t let that on job site. They will say learn to bend box offset with bender

In A Bent like that,
1st I’d do the 90, then put it flat on Ground, then do the OFFSET.

This is more of a shop tool than a site tool unless you’re doing hundreds on a single site. Much better to offset first before starting a bend sequence.

I'm a retired electrician that saves time and money and your back. Union electrician don't care about time . The longer it takes the more they make .

And we complain robots and AI are taking jobs.
Why bother? Let a robot bend the offsets.
I still do it the old fashioned way.
I get more satisfaction out of it.

When a carpenter is installing your pipe. YOU know why you'll never see this on a union job? Because we know how to bend pipe by measuring. Lol. Box offsets are the easiest to use.
