Two Pints of Larger & a Packet of Crisp was excellent and funny, it was well scripted with real comedy moments. It does not deserve to be so criticised.

Bit unfair to include "Two Pints Of Lager" because compared to many other "shitcoms" it was a lot of fun, it was witty, and the situations the gang got themselves into were often mad, it sits there amongst the best that BBC THREE had to offer.

Two Pints of Lager...was popular. You got that one wrong. Agree with the rest.

Here in the United States, there have barely been 10 shows that did _not_ make people lose faith in television.

Two Pints was VERY realistic to 20 year olds in the 2000's

When I first saw the character of Mrs. Brown, it was like looking at my late mother-in-law. The resemblance is uncanny.

I am an American and me and my mom and dad love Mrs. Brown’s boys

Used to love Mrs Brown’s Boys when I was younger. It was one of those shows that we watched even though we were too young for it. I guess that made it funnier. Watching it again as an adult makes me realise how absolutely shit it really is.

Shows like "Mrs Brown's Boys" and "Citizen Khan" are divisive because they take a stereotypical person that the writer has known, and places it under the comedic magnifying glass.
In "Mrs Brown's Boys" the main character is the person that the viewer is supposed to side with, whilst the supporting cast are the comedic relief. Whilst "Citizen Khan" - a self-appointed community leader - was a comedic exaggeration who the viewer was supposed to laugh at, whilst sympathising with the people of the supporting cast.
The problem with taking a stereotype that the writer might know and see as comedic gold, is how to adapt that character and situation for the public.

People have to allow for the fact that "Mrs Brown's Boys" is written by an Irishman, whilst "Citizen Khan" was written by an second generation Asian man from Wolverhampton, they both know the stereotype that they play.

BBC News made me lose faith in the BBC, that and the fact it’s a rotating door between them and the Conservative Party.

If you knew anything about circus folk, you'd know that it would be almost impossible to write a family friendly sitcom about their lives backstage

Two Pints was good in it's early series it just faded a bit as time went on, especially after Ralf Little left.

Mrs Brown's Boys is one of those that will probably offend and delight in equal measure. Two Pints of Lager is a British classic. (edit. but yes, it did sort of fall off a cliff at the end and become crap.) And that is most certainly NOT Jamie Theakston.

Snog Marry Avoid was way more positive than most makeover shows. It was more about showing people how they could look if they tried something different.

I like Coming of Age, wouldn't call it revolutionary but I liked it, felt like Two Pints for younger teens
