EVs dominated the 2022 World Car Awards. The winners were all about new technology. Check out the winners of the World Car Awards. If you have additional questions, put them in the comments below and I'll be happy to answer.

Hey Lauren, do you think Stellantis will ever give us a Grand Wagoneer PHEV that will do 50 - 60 miles on electric and have 10 degrees of rear steering? I would love this! They could do a Series IV version which adds these two items + everything on a Series III model—$125K maxed out. Rear Wheel Steering (RWS) seems a must in these big SUVs. Couple RWS with 50 - 60 miles on electricity would make the Grand Wagoneer a tremendous daily driver. It also enables it to maneuver car parks, navigate safely through those small towns on long trips, and lower the carbon emissions. It would hold great value against Range Rover's (RR) new PHEV. I mention the RR because it would have similar features. It's designed to go off-road, do 50 - 60 miles on electricity, and be very nimble with its rear-wheel steer—but would it be $40k - $120K better than a similarly configured Grand Wagoneer?

What are your thoughts on the new VinFast car company? Think they're a solid option for an electric crossover?

Lost a lot of work for the show because many car companies weren't there. Oh well, at least I can retire now.

Hyundai and Kia are kicking ****, and not taking names. No wonder Toyota execs said they were worried about Hyundai competition, not other Japanese, European, or American brands.

The New York Auto Show reveals looked pretty weak this year. Not too many things look good for the enthusiasts, but of course if anyone is part of the mass market for crossovers, SUV's pickup trucks or minivans, this was their show.

I also understand that it's the first New York Auto Show in 2 years since the coronavirus pandemic took off and got out of control and a lot of the cooler vehicles for enthusiasts we're revealed online and at private events so I guess all is forgiven for now.

We'll have to see what the Detroit Auto Show brings to the table this summer of Detroit doesn't back out again and what Los Angeles will bring mid-to-late Fall for the L.A. Auto Show.
