I have the same gun, wouldn't have any other now and I have had Devilbiss, Sata and some cheaper guns over the years, this gun rocks!

I use mine 3 turns out for fan from fully closed and fluid almost wide open at 29 psi 1.4 for clear works great for me I use a Lph400lvx for base 1.4 tip perfect jobs Everytime also have LVB tip for certain metallics and pearl colors by far best setup I have ever used won't use anything else finish is closest to factory I've ever had

I tried that setup today.not bad.was surprised.at first thought wasnt gonna be enough fluid output.not the case wetted up nice and smooth 29psi.cheers.

Awsome i use same gun ws400 1.3 hd tip gun set up is on spray pattern 3 full turns on fluid 2.5 turns and 30 psi

nice video and discussion i have a lph 400 silver cap i mainly spray high solids clear SPI universal i love it my set up is usually full fan out then 1 turn in trigger cranked in then 2 1/2 turns out pressure around 25 to 27 ish works great for high solids if you use full trigger with high solids u will run the shit out of it ask me how i know lol

Doesn’t your fan split on wide open, ,I use the same gun but 1 3/4 to 2 turns on fan

Saw a guy doing 6 turns on fluid ws400 spraying 29 psi sprayed from far away did a good clear job no runs
