Try using a vegetable peeler, sounds crazy but it works like a dream. It is super fast. I put the wire on a piece of wood, put the peeler on top of the wire and hold it there then pull the wire wham bam thank you ma'am.

Cool I love the enthusiasm I just like that you made it a hobby and sat down on the kitchen floor with the cat that's cool I want to recommend warm up wire in front of space heater oh try tying one on and off of the of the wire like to anything sturdy and use a utility knife with brand new razor blades that go along with they don't go dull fast I get a lot more done with less fatigues on the arms and shoulders that's where I feel it after I'm done stripping wire have a great day now peace✌

Hello there. Quality time together 👍
I did use a curved Stanley blade and a peice of two x four. I got a WSA wirestripper and it's a fantastic little tool, I had to pay taxes to get it in the country, made it all back in a few hours 😀
Oh yeah, phat cat, I has a box, if I fits I sits. Rocky also used to play with the wires while I was stripping them.

Similar method to mine, I also just use a knife and a screen to lean on but I run each piece of wire through a tea towel before I strip it, it straightens and warms the outside so I only take on pass to strip each piece, give it a try

You guys should get a 2/4 board drill some holes in it check the wire and drill the same size as the wire then drive a nail in the side of the board till the tip barely sticks through enough to cut through the insulation as you pull it through the board.Be safer than holding a knife won.t cost you really anything, you mite want to mount the board in a vise or nail it to something strong so you can pull wire through it without holding on to it..You seem very nice people.

Fat-Cat was such and integral factor in the wire stripping process proving being inside the box thinking is not such a bad thing after all.. A family and their Cat stripping together actually makes "Red Gold" together.. Love this channel <3

Nicely Done!!! Use what you have. I also strip by hand using a bench vise to hold the wire and drag the knife down the core. Takes a bit to get use to but works well!!!! For the

Love these videos. I watch while stripping my wire. I go scrapping on a BIKE. And you would be surprised at how much cable I get. Not so much daily, but over a week, boy does it add up. And over a couple of months, or the summer, you're gonna have more cable than you know what to do with. But whatever you do, strip it all. Excellent video here as well.

I really like my TNT stripper. There is an adjustment period where you have to set the blades to the right depth. But I can look at a wire and know which hole it's gonna cut best in. The $50 I paid for it has come back to me over 6 times so far. Each 5gallon bucket I fill of stripped #2 weighs about 42 pounds; around $100 a bucket!!!
