I love Robert Trujillo. Cliff WROTE the damn bass parts and all, but I think Robert has extremely good taste as well and he’s my personal #1 favourite Metallica bassist. He’s got Cliffs speed and Jason’s flash, he’s just a monster.

To everyone who feels bad for Jason or somehow questions what Jason meant to Metallica and more importantly the fans just remember it's been 21 years since Jason left or was forced to leave the band doesn't matter which and he was only in the band 15 years but yet still we talk about him and remember him and he didn't die thankfully. I think that says enough. Argue if you want but all you do is make yourself look stupid.

ngl that really sounds fitting for the song. the lyrics and the timing is so good. that's also the third and last repetition of that riff so adding that scream made it more fitting before the song ends
