Someone took 'Godzilla vs. Kong' a little too seriously 🦎

This 6-foot-long monitor lizard ran into a Thailand 7/11, quickly climbing the shelves in search of food.

Asian water monitors typically live near canals and ponds. It’s believed that this particular lizard struggled to find food outside following months of dry weather in the region.

Dragons are the same as everyone else in Thailand, they go to 7/11 to enjoy the air conditioning and get a snack and drink.

Asian water monitor, they're actually pretty tame as far as monitor lizards go and they may attack you if they feel threatened but if you approached one with food they'd probably let you pet em a little as it eats. They make great pets too although look after them if you want one build it a proper enclosure that's large enough so it's healthy and lives about 20 years which are usually their life spans.

At least this Monitor Lizard didn't go insane and on attack mode. It was trying to climb in peace. That Monitor Lizard is training for the Olympics and one day he will make Thailand proud. Cool video. ^_^

We had an identical one that hung out under a bridge over a drainage canal on Sumatra in Indonesia. It was right near our mess hall, so the kitchen staff would throw leftover food out for it after evening chow.
