Games usually use the UDP protocol for the game client not the TCP protocol. The TCP Optimizer therefore does nothing.
It is also usually not necessary to change anything in the TCP protocol and if you do, you should understand the settings.

The program Ping uses the ICMP protocol to measure the network latency, so a change with TCP Optimizer would not be measurable at all. Besides, this is always just a snapshot, a ping to another host may have different times again.

Changing the DNS server has zero influence on the ping, it is only used for name resolution. Flushing the DNS cache also has no effect on the ping.

Adding a program to the Windows firewall only affects whether the program is allowed to communicate but not the ping.

Disabling the Windows Update Service is not necessary at all. When Windows downloads and install an update can be set by the user.

The ping can usually not be influenced, because it depends on many factors on which you have no influence, this can be worse or better.

Your guide is bad and does nothing.

didn't work for me personally actually made my internet worse and had to revert all the changes i made. i have 1.2GB speed internet with xfinity and was trying to do this method to stop in game random lag spikes. doing this method turned my usual 400+MB download speed to 1.5MB.

MAKE SURE you create a restore point before proceeding. I did the tweaks (not from this video btw) on TCP and played a fairly good match on valorant and had a consistent 50-60 ms but it would occasionally spike up to 150 -400 ms which lasted about 1 ms i think. But my pc crashed and had to reinstall windows all over, it had something to do with the TCP tweaks so better be careful before you do proceed. Great video and it works if anyone is wondering.

Enabling the tcp thing doesnt do anything for Valorant(UDP Game) lol if anything it increases CPU % usage and adds a bit of input delay to your mouse/keyboard

I've been using valorant tracker for over a year and I use the guides tab to find all of my lineups and setups for evry agent in the game and it's got about double the linups and setups that blitz has available which is why i personally recommend using it you can easily check your lifetime stats for your account including your agents too see which agents you may struggle with nad should probably avoid or which weapon you aren't the best with and should try to improve with it also shows which map to work on or which map is best which will give you some insight on which aspects of your gameplay need most work it has match history tab to show all your recent games you can see if you are having an off day or not and should take a break live match feature is also awesome

Anyone else having trouble staying connected in games after these changes? Ping went down by ~10 ms but I can’t play for more than an hour without my wifi going down. Never had this problem before

I use valorant tracker a lot and i think its great for improving lineups and guides, seeing what you should be doing by looking at stats of weapons and seeing which ones you aren't good with so you can improve that. Even the ability to see the enemys ranks and stats is really helpful as long as you dont underestimate or overestimate your enemys.

Turn off Window Defender, Uninstall Vanguard, then open the game and let it reinstall vanguard then it will ask u to reset Computer, but don't. Go to Services, find VCG or VCG, start it, then you will able to play the game, no lag.
