As an Asian, we literally have bone broth daily. Our soup are usually clear soup that has been boiled for hours. When I was growing up, my Mom had a little charcoal stove set up. I wake up to the soup boiling away and it goes on until dinner time. Every meal comes with soup that has been lovingly tend to for hours. No modern day chicken bullion or any other unhealthy stuff. Sadly, in this modern times, no one has the time to cook in this manner. Thank God for slow and pressure cooker. I have tried using pressure cooker vs stove top or slow cooker. Although they gel up, the broth from a slow cooker definitely is more “solid” and taste better whereas the broth from the pressure cooker tend to be more watery.

We like to cook chicken feet in soup. As Asian our parents taught us that chicken feet contain natural gelatine & glucosamine which are good for the joints & minimize arthritis.

I made this for the first time in 2020, and haven't stopped since. I usually make a batch every 2 weeks. I drink this on my fasting days. It is so good and so good for you. You're so right Dr. Mandell, this is such a great thing, and you feel so good after drinking this. Thank you and God Bless you Dr. Mandell.

Directions:
7-8 large beef bones, 3-5 gallons of distilled water, digital large crock pot, large pot, veggies ( I used 2 large chopped onions, celery, & garlic & 1 Tablespoon tumeric).

Fill a large pot on stove 1st with water, bones, veggies & garlic, almost to top. Start boiling. When they begin boiling remove all the "scum" that boils to the top of the water ( it looks like floating, tight foam) boil till no more scum appears then transfer evrrything to the crockpot, fill it to top- for 4 sessions of 12 hours each = 48hrs I kept on high for 12-16 hrs then moved to lower setting & then added tumeric- keep adding water, due to evaporation over time. When done, add salt to taste, mix & let cool. Strain then pour into pitcher or gallon - let liquid cool completely 1st -as plastic will leach into liquid if liquid is hot!
Lasts for 1-11/2 weeks in fridge.

I read it takes 48 hrs for the powerful, vital nutrients to leach out of strong, hard beef bones- that's how long I did it for.
When I drank this- I felt a strong euphoria come over me, shortly afterwards. Never experienced something like that before.. I could physically feel the power of this broth. My reoccurring gut issue of "The big D" immediately stopped.

Warning- if you are a Renal patient, check with your Dr. 1st, as I am not sure if this has excess protein- muscle does, but not sure about the bones themselves.

Hope this helps someone.

Hey Dr., where are you in Florida?

In January 2019, I weighed in at 283. I started walking and developed habits and routes of various lengths, but did not change my diet. My spinal column began to deteriorate as did my hips and knees. I got severe muscle cramping and had to cut back on my walking. I listened to the Motivational Doc and especially this video and I am down to 230; I experience less pain, and I am back on the road! February 2020, I logged my first 100 mile month, and in March, I surpassed 100 miles on the 25th with six more days to go. My diet is not yet perfect, but Bone broth has become a staple. Thanks, Doc.

Yes, you need to cook it on low for a few hours, depending on how much meat is used. Don't add veggies until the last 30 minutes, but I do add some salt, pepper and spices in the beginning of cooking. I usually make more than enough and freeze the rest for later. I also use neck bones or other in my pasta sauce besides meatballs. It adds so much flavor. My mother cooked lots of different soups and so did my MIL and they lived long time with no hip, knee or other problems. I don't remember them ever complaining about their backs or necks or legs. Great video👍 I just took my chicken broth out of the freezer. Cooking time 😊

I buy beef bones and put them in the crock pot on low (simmering) and let them go for about 3 days. This makes enough broth to last me a good week, always have my crock pot going with this stuff, and it makes the house smell very nice too. Great video Doctor, thank you

I just made Oxtail bone broth for the first time and it turned out great. It's really good with a little lime squeezed in too! I've been suffering from neck and shoulder pain for months and I'm looking forward to getting this into my system to reap the benefits over time.

I roast chicken drumsticks for my dogs, I take all the meat off the bones and I put into a bag in the freezer along with any chicken carcasses, then I make delicious bone broth in my instant pot. I also add some fresh drumsticks(my dog has the meat)and a couple of carrots, a few sticks of celery 2 bayleaves, fresh parsley, 1 tsp dried thyme, 2 tsp Celtic grey sea salt, 8 peppercorns, 2 tablespoons for apple cider vinegar.
I fill my pot with bottled spring water to the mark just below max, put it on high pressure for 3 hours leave it for 30 minutes then release any pressure. Let it cool for about 30 minutes strain into a big bowl then spoon into a jug and pour into canning jars, when cooled enough put lids on and refrigerate. When cold it is always like jelly, that way you know you have perfect bone broth.
You can do the same with beef marrow bones and cook for at least 4 hours.
