I agree with everything you said about the cons of having this handbag. I have the mini rectangle a classic flap in lambskin with gold hardware and the mini square classic flap in lambskin with gold hardware. And I have to really be careful of how I place my bags down so I don’t scrape the bottoms and corners. They do not have feet and with such delicate, soft leather ….you gotta be careful sitting it down or you’ll damage the leather. And the gold clasps on both of mine is scraped from opening and closing my handbags. I have to send them off to Rago Brothers to be re-good plated. And they said they would also put a tight, clear plastic covering on the clasp when they complete the repairs so it won’t happen again. So that is also something to think about about with these handbags. I have a black caviar leather CoCo handle with silver hardware that opens/closed with a clasp and I notice the scratches are minimal with the silver hardware.
