Hello Dr! Should I put on socks after I apply the cream? Or should I be barefoot until the cream kind of dries up? Thank you.

thank you for the video. 3 follow up questions. 1st. do I need to spray my shoes until my athlete's foot is gone? 2nd after applying the cream to the bottom of my foot how long do I wait to walk on them? Last, my spouse has had severe athlete's foot for over 30 years and has only treated the itch. with that said, I am a diabetic and now have a lite case of it. Once I am healed from my athlete's foot, am I at risk of getting it again because the spouse has it?

Thank you for this video! I have a few additional questions. Should you disinfect your shower each time you shower if you have athletes foot?If so, which disinfectant do you recommend? How do you prevent it from spreading to your hands? Should gloves be used when applying ointment to your feet?

What if it is only between the 4th and 5th toe..would you still do all the toes and the heal? Is spray better than the crème? How do you know when it’s getting better and not contagious? Thank you!

So I ended up with athlete's foot about11 months ago. Only the space between the fourth and fifth toe on one foot was affected and I used an over-the-counter for 2 months just to be on the safe side. I really have no idea how I got it in the first place, as it had been months since I was last barefoot in a public space, and I'd never had it before.

Anyway, the cream took care of it, and I tossed the socks and shoes I wore while infected. I've been washing my feet everyday and changing socks, cleaned the shower, and I haven't set a bare foot on my floor since I realized what I had. Yet, just last week, I discovered a crack in the crease between the third and fourth toe on the opposite foot, this time.

I decided to try Vaseline first, as my feet were fairly dry because I hadn't moisturized in awhile. The crack did close up, but the skin around it has peeled more. Then yesterday, I found a crack in the exact same spot on the other foot. If it were really a fungal infection, would the cracks be healing with Vaseline alone? Cause they sure didn't last time, until I started the antifungal. Also last time, the itching was intense, whereas these two new areas haven't itched at all. I went ahead and started treating them with antifungal, regardless. But if I have got it again, what's causing it?

Thanks for the helpful video! The pharmisist thinks i have a fungal infection on my foot and i think its infected one of my toenails already as it is white- do i have to do anything apart from carry on using the cream given? Im a hypochondriac so scared its dangerous and could turn into worse things, especially since im already struggling with my heath. Thanks!

Hi. I think I have athletes foot between my 4th and 5th toe. It has flared up and now have very cracked soft skin between the toes. I have bought the anti fungal cream, but how can I help the healing between my toes. The pharmacist said to not apply directly on broken skin, just around. Any advice welcome. Thanks

I have an itchy feeling on the skin around my big toe nail and a little under the big toe nail. My podiatrist said she couldn’t see any evidence of athletes foot and she removed the hard skin around it. She advised canestan cream- what duration should I use it for dr? Pls advise .
4:24 I get this itchiness at night and some relief if feet are out of the duvet .. it’s really weird
I think I developed this issue after wearing trainers a lot in the garden during our hot summer weather
I tried all
Sorts of natural remedies including vinegar
Foot soaks but to no effect
So praying that this canestan works
It’s a most irritating problem

Can this Antifungal Cream work on my Private Area's too? I have experienced Jock Itch. The most common area of my Privates is my balls. It itches a lot, which is annoying. Will this cream stop my ball itch, you think Doctor?
