French Language Leaders' Debate: Standout moments from the night

The French language federal leaders' debate was held in front of a non-partisan live audience at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Que., overlooking Parliament Hill.

The themes for the debate were: Economy and finances, Environment and energy, Foreign policy and immigration, Identity, and Ethics and governance.

The leaders were asked questions submitted by Canadians as well as from the journalists moderating the debates.

as far as i can see there is only one stand debater in this debate and that is BERNIER

The majority of Canadians speak English and many did not understand or watch this in the minority french language. Americans who primarily speak English or the 35 million Spanish speakers did not even pay attention.

Again.Bernier shows hes got what it takes to lead this country. A true P.M should be able to answer all questions asked of them. May and Jagmeet are unfit. Cannot trust Scheer and his weasel smile, Trudeau has shown his time is up and Yves is not even a national party leader. PPC 2019

I wish you guys spoke French, this debate was way better. Specific questions and effective moderating. Scheer sucks at French. Maxime is super eloquent and is quick with clear information. Some of them admitted to a balanced budget in 5 years and Max said: well then you won't balance the budget cause you only have 4 years.

Anyone else find it odd how we have a problem with non citizens receiving voting slips? That the refugees flooding into Canada cross through Ontario and Quebec where the vast majority of seats are? Anyone else find it odd that the election is essentially decided by the time Ontario and Quebec votes come in while western Canada barely makes a dent in the results? Anyone...??
