I love seeing your bathroom! I also have painted dark brown walls, but with white accents (tiles, bathtub, toilet, sink etc), so it is basically dark chocolate brown & white throughout! Nobody I knew thought it was a good idea when I said I was painting my bathroom brown! However, 5 years later and people always compliment me on my bathroom! I have rolled white bath sheets, labelled amber brown refillable bottles for my shampoo, body wash etc, white pillar candles on my stained dark oak bath caddy, a huge abstract framed piece, hanging eucalyptus, an LED sconce over my mirror and of course a diffuser! The dark colors with the contrasting but uniform accents remind me of a hotel and I feel so at peace in there! I love the layered lighting tip, I will definitely think of how to incorporate more of that into my bathroom. Thank you! 😊

I’ve added magnetic LED lights to the sides of my medicine cabinet and it’s great because it saves me having to use the main bathroom lights, which saves on electricity. Next is to put some in the vanity cabinet. I also got a great inexpensive motion sensor trash can from Amazon.

Different color towels saved my sanity in a multiple children bathroom. They picked the color, and only they used their towels. No squabbles.
