I wanted a gek settlement, but settled on a Korvax one. It was too good to pass up. B class, bioluminesant world, on a hillside overlooking an ocean. I have to admit there's something ironic about being a gek overlord of a Korvax city...

I got lucky then! I popped 6 maps and found a blue paradise planet with glowing grass and flora for my settlement. It was worth the time to find it!

Oh shit, the music that plays when you land at the settlement during mission, I haven’t heard that since release 5 years ago when I flew into a space station for the first time. Back then that literally was the high point of the game, and only because of that soundtrack. Cool to hear it again after so long.

thanks, over 1'/2 of the maps I used were a no go, another 5-6 sent me to a near by system, none gave me the planet I wanted, maybe due to the fact that I already had a base there. All the ones I found were stormy planets, and about 1/2 of them were high sentinel as well, a little WTF and for info, thanks again

I wanted to share one tid bit. From this most recent patch, you are no longer able to use the offline workaround for bypassing construction time gates on PC. Doing so will make it to where you have to restart the construction upon loading into your save.

Very first settlement I got was a peaceful verdant with floating islands. Was stoked!

TBH, getting a settlement and having to run it, is a pain.
Every time I go there, there's a dispute, something needs built, or the sentinels are attacking..
I generally keep away and do other things.

My first settlement is in a desert planet, it looks like wild West with cactus etc, the day is hot, but not enough to need extra protection, but night is icy but I like it I don't mind, I would like to have a second one, found one in another system in a really nice planet, but as you said I should abandon the previous one, and I don't want to, maybe they could allow us to have another if is in another system.

I enjoy the method of growth, just found a 14 person settlement, gek, on paradise planet with only like 50k debt. I cant wait to enjoy it. man this game has changed much since its release.

Sports (ski, surfing, parachuting), beeing able to share/walk inside the spaceshipe (and more inside shipe features), an autopilot for the spaceship, a "mercenary" robot/alien to help farming/piloting the ship, combat zones and more military features is all thats missing for me.


And also... an official Sean Murray Skin (love that guy).

My gek settlement is in a green star system so all the lights I put up have a green glow, but the walls light up with blue or red...kinda cool.
