good morning..I'm from the Philippines.I find your videos very helpful.Thank you very much.My son is joining a math contest, have a little problem though.I found these two Math fraction word I cant solve.Answers were given, can't figure out how they get the answer. I hope you can help me with this.

1.A jar is 3/8 full of water.When 3 liters of water were poured into it, it became 3/5 full.How many liters of water the jar can contain?
Ans.13 1/3 liters.


2.A container is 2/3 full of water.When 8 liters of water was removed from it, it became 2/7 full.What is the capacity of the container?
Ans.21 liters
