Unboxing New Bird Cage // Setting Up a Budgie Home

We recently ordered another cage for our budgies online. This one by Yaheetech is small to medium sized. We will use it as a travel cage (and hopefully never as an emergency cage :-)). Of course I not only unbox it, but also build it, following the step by step manual. I even show how I set it up. Hope it can be helpful to other budgie owners out there!

Side note: although I prefer these smooth wooden perches over plastic ones, I still recommend using natural perches that have more texture, because it's better for your budgies' health 😊

I dont mean this in a rude way, and you probably already know since you seem like you researched, but I recommend shredding and foraging toys, and natural wood perches. I would prefer a bigger cage, but I know you just got it and I understand how not everyone can afford things! Stainless steel bowls are also better than plastic, as they are easier to clean. Im quite cautious to send this comment since a few people have hated me ever since because i tried to give advice. Again, i dont mean this in a rude way!! Your birds seem to always be out so size doesnt matter so much anyway. Have a good day, those are my two cents :)

I would recommend putting stainless steel cups and remove those plastic ones, food bowls should never be at the bottom half of the cage as they collect poop there.
Also as the cage is very small I would just change the plain perches to all just natural wood perches 😄 more natural toys too or they will gnaw on the cotton rope and thats never good.
They should have natural toys to destroy and foraging toys to keep theim entertained.

I want to share something with misty and blue 's owner that I have two budgies and their name are Coco and Peko and I call Coco in love koki and he has also start speaking koki but in fact we says that if we teach budgies when they are 2 months old but he is not that much small or too big and he has start speaking and thankyou so much for giving me instructions how to tame female budgies now Peko has also become friendly to me thankyou ones again 😘😘😘😘😘
