I am honestly dreading this process. I hate the fact that an exam/test defines me and how much I can make. I have always hated exams and have never been a good test taker. Another thing is that in my college, the accounting exams felt like they were made to be tricky and more then 2 answer choices could be the answer ruining your chances on getting a good score. Overall, my accounting department at my school would never let anyone get any high A grade in any of the upper level accounting courses even if you tried your very best, but the professor would and has made a mistake out of thin air to make sure the student does not get a high A grade.

The reason for me to say that is because I really feel like CPA exam questions are so word heavy that it is almost on the verge of tricking you and having an actual answer and reasoning behind it being a legitimate question. I am going to be using Becker and the free 30 day plan. I am giving the CPA one chance while I stay in Public Accounting but shoot it is going to suck if I never get it....I prob will not last long in there.

If you skipped the simulations while studying, how did you deal with the simulations on the exam? I'm studying for far rn btw.

I'm studying for FAR right now. I procrastinated so badly (had over a month to study), getting it all done in 15 days. I still think I might pass the exam even with limited study time. Becker helps a lot.

Did you watch All concepts videos for all sections ( eg. in FAR )before moving to MCQs or concept videos for each sections. Eg. M1 then MCQs, M2 then MCQs etc..

Been working at a small firm for a decade almost, finally deciding to take the dive and go for the test. Need ~30 credits too but I'm debating if I should do school or the test first.. feel like I am not in school mode so maybe going back will be better than taking the test first.

I've been trying my best to work on those notorious TBS and hating myself and Becker lol. Were you able to pass on your first try without focusing too much on TBS? I definitely want to skip those, but am kind of anxious that I might fail :/
