I'm from Highland Falls. It's gotten better now that the flood has drained and all that left are huge pieces of tree branches and tree chunks, and holes. My family is okay, and so am I. I hope all the other locals are safe too!

I thought we'd mitigated a lot of this after Hurricanes Irene & Lee and Hurricane Sandy! Why does this keep happening? We spent billions of dollars to "make sure something like this never happens again", and yet, IT HAPPENED AGAIN!

I’m watching and realizing omg that’s my area
Took me 4 hrs to get home that night for a 25min drive to give perspective on how bad it got
I’m not complaining because that is NOTHING compared to the disaster to the town surrounding and an unfortunate death due to it!!!!
