How to Convert .rar to Mp3

Once you locate the .rar file, used your mouse to select it. Then right click on it. A drop down menu will appear. At the top of this menu, click "Extract here." And that is how to convert .rar to Mp3 you can then open any of the downloaded mp3 files and it will start to play.

My files don't show up with a "purple, blue, and green books stacked together" icon. They show up with an Adobe reader icon, but they are .rar files. When I right-click, I don't get the "Extract Here" option. The closest option is Extract to Folder and Extract Without Confirmation. In either case, I don't wind up with MP3 files.

Not sure if I'll get a response, but I used this to convert a video to mp3, but when it plays, the video has a stupid slow frame rate. what can be done to make it go faster?
