Fire Emblem Three Houses - Cindered Shadows Speedrun - 24:48
Показать описание
This run beats the DLC Cindered Shadows side story as quickly as possible on the fastest available difficulty settings (normal/casual). Done on version 1.2.0. Timing begins upon selecting no on the "Connect to network" dialogue, and ends upon fadeout after defeating the final boss.
Good enough - I wasn't expecting to get a 24 lol. There are some minor bits of sloppy menuing here and there, but this category's honestly a pain to grind out - since it's a really short category, consistency/safety isn't really much of a concern - so much can go wrong in every chapter, so just finishing a run without divine pulsing a single time is near miraculous. My Dimitri had amazing strength and bulk all around (his speed sucked, but it doesn't matter in this category lol), which is ultimately what mattered, and nobody died, I didn't have to divine pulse anywhere, and every crucial attack landed.
Male Byleth is TECHNICALLY better for cindered shadows, only because of Hilda's personal skill (buff adjacent male allies) - in the speedrun, this is only potentially relevant for the last map, and would be extremely rare for it to matter, so Byleth's gender doesn't really matter much.
Things that can go wrong:
Chapter 1 - Dimitri missing his first gambit, Dimitri getting hit too much, Dimitri getting crit'd by Constance, Yuri activating Pavise on Dimitri, and Dimitri proc'ing his crest on Yuri, burning silver lance uses.
Chapter 2 - Dimitri missing / activating his crest on the first enemy (both are bad), constance/hapi surviving enemy phase 1 (you want them to die), and Claude/Dimitri just taking a lot of hits in general
Chapter 3 - Byleth has to dodge several attacks and survive (Vantage helps). Multiple enemies have a 30% displayed / 18% true hitrate with gambits on him, and if a single one land, run over.
Chapter 4 - Probably the only reliable chapter - though, it's less reliable if Dimitri's defense didn't grow much.
Chapter 5 - Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck
Chapter 6 - Dimitri can miss Aelfric - he also needs at least 40 str to one-round Aelfric.
Chapter 7 - Byleth/Dimitri can miss their initial gambits. Units just have to get enough crits to take out the beast before it unleashes its AOE attack. An Aelfric clone can spawn that blocks Hapi on turn 2 - losing a few seconds
