Changes I've noticed:
1. Names of locations are different
2. Edelgard has a different voice actor
3. In battle UI, the HP is now smaller
4. In battle UI, there are combat arts at the top now
5. In font, the spacing and size of text is smaller
6. In font, text is 3 lines instead of 2
7. Mercedes' hair is less brown
8. Unique enemies, other students look unique on the map now
9. The red squares showing attack range are darker and have an outline
10. I believe the map shown is an early mock battle version
11. Character portraits when talking are now slightly smaller
12. Training specific skills is far different, whereas it's more player chosen
13. Blood on Seiros' sword
14. Enemies don't get knocked back as far from gambits
15. In criticals, it's now a more vertical beam, with the character being larger and the animation is more fluid

I got this game without seeing a single trailer for it and knowing absolutely nothing about it. It was literally handed to me for free for my birthday by a relative who only knew I had a switch but didn’t know what I liked to play. I’ve never played a single Fire Emblem game and when I tried playing it I fell in love with it. Seeing this trailer now somehow makes me so happy when it’s so different from the actual game

omg did anyone else realize that the opening melody is a minor version on the fire emblem main theme?! thats pretty cool, really sets the tone for the game especially in contrast to echoes's first trailer (the one with the music box fe theme)
