New 1984 Honda Civic has hidden features everywhere!

When I was a kid I disliked the look of these cars. But now 3 decades later, I can really appreciate the simplicity and purity of this car.

What I like aside their simplicity is that, most cars in that era have really nice soft and warm colours👌

Radios, Air, and passenger mirror were all dealer added accessories. These were so much in demand, dealers were marking up the price above MSRP.

I am old enough to remember when these were new. These things sold like crack back in the day. Now today the newest Civic is the nicest small car I have ever seen. This 1984 issue with nearly no miles on it may be worth its weight in carbon.

I know I'm getting old because I now adore the design of this car. I remember when I was young, an older kid across the street bought one and restored it, and I thought it was a goofy thing to do. Now I want one.

My Dad’s 1999 Mercedes ML320 had the under seat tray, only his were lockable. They were actually really useful for traveling long distances to hiking or biking locations because I could bring my iPad or MacBook along for the long drive but put them in a secure and hidden place when biking or something and wouldn’t have to worry about needing a backpack to carry it or it getting stolen from a less secure and hidden spot

We, older people, know that these card woyld come with no radio player but you woyld just remove that cover and install your own. The speakers are real, they are not just fake covers.

Friends grandma had probably late 80s early 90s and it wasn't quirky then, it was just a normal vehicle.

Simple but nifty features. I like everything about it, though a higher trim model would be nice with stereo, speakers and A/C.

Ah yes. Back when the civic was a sub compact car!! With every new gen they kept adding room. Until the civic became a compact (and the accord became full size) so Honda had to create a new sub compact car!!😂

I had a base model ‘90 Civic hatch. Same thing with the blank panel for the radio. The cool thing was that all of the wiring was there already for the speakers and the radio.

Making me miss my first car. 87 Accord... Same interior color. Outside was between champagne and gold. I didn't appreciate the pop up headlights in 1998 as I do now.

That’s Honda baby. If you know anything about Soichiro Honda’s philosophy it all makes sense. No wonder Honda from this era are still beloved.
