He said it'll be available in 2026, so it'll be available in 2038

His whole speech about why its so bad driving in LA or most of the US, is entirely the fault of car dependency. But instead of showing real world solutions that most other countries already use, like trains, high speed trains, or good bike infrastructure, he just suggests more cars.

How exactly will switching from private cars to cyber cabs reduce traffic congestion?

Cost of a bus, $1/mile, carries 60+ people.

Cost of Robotaxi is $0.40, carries 2.

Per passenger mile the robotaxi is at least 12x more expensive to operate.

Is it mandatory for the crowd to be loud and to shout? It is so annoying.

He's trying to avoid being like sci-fi movies that are dark and dismal. But this whole setup/presentation is in a dark alley, looking like something from a dark and dismal sci-fi movie.

He says that an owner of a Cybertaxi can have their car working for them, but the car will quickly depreciate just like any rideshare drivers car when putting so many miles on it. Probably wouldn’t be able to pay the loan off from the income it generates before losing all of its value.

LMAO pretending THOUSANDS of these are more sustainable options than public transportation like a bus? The dissonance is unreal with this weirdo.

Criticising the price of public transport for being subsidized while not counting the cost of building roads and petrol price subsidies as being 'subsidized' is a bit rich.

The problem is the lack of an electric rail infrastructure such as in Europe; we do not need more cars on the road going to El Segundo.

Oookay, so a thing to note here : He did everything except show us a working Robotaxi.

Ah yes, two door taxis, a great idea.

They shouldn't have made the doors Gullwing style (on the cybercab), because in the rare case of a rollover you're stuck in the car. Whereas, with traditional doors you can open the door and climb out. Also, cost savings, as you already have the hardware for model 3 / Y / Cyber truck.

Same exact presentation from years ago. No proof the car even self drove.

It is so exciting to see Elon Musk expanding into the taxi business! From revolutionizing space travel with SpaceX to transforming the auto industry with Tesla, now he is diving into the future of transportation with autonomous taxis. The possibilities are endless and we can only wondering what will happen next? Flying cars? hyperloop networks? or maybe even something we cant yet imagine. Musk continues to push boundaries and it feels like we are on the edge of the next big innovation. I cant wait to see where this leads.

I think the only way autonomous cars are feasible and completely safe is if only available on specific roads that have additional sensors that talk to and possibly control + monitor all cars on that road...

This is a perfect excuse to drink and drive...I mean drink while robo drives...LOL
