He's Te auxillary. Ti users think their own way, seeking alternatives, different methods, etc.. Ti users aren't the best in taking in "general methods". Of course, Te will get more favor. Te is also associated to achievement, power, hierarchy, exactness, etc.. anything book-related that school teaches us, that the curriculum adheres to.
