Professor Jim Hurrell presents "Climate Predictions and Projections in the Coming Decades: Uncertainty due to Natural Variability."

Hurrell is the Scott Presidential Chair of Environmental Science and Engineering at Colorado State University, and the former director of NCAR.

This talk was part of the "Confronting the Challenges of Climate Change" symposium. The symposium on the topic of energy and the environment was held in honor of Theodore “Ted” Brown, the Founding Director of the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology.

This talk was presented at the Beckman Institute of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on October 16, 2018.

Watching this presentation is like drilling your eyeballs out. Go to the 54:46 for the conclusions. All it says is that projections and predictions will have wider regional variability over decadal time scales.
