It's being teased everywhere that Rory and Mal are possibly going to start their own platform. Mal dropped a fan-made photo (which I thought was pretty cool). I'm wondering if they can not only carry a pod of their own, but also do business as friends?!

Rory and Mal serve a different demographic. The Joe Budden Podcast was a dynamic podcast, and attracted a variety of personalities. Rory and Mal serve a niche fanbase and if they can find their radio/on-air personalities, with the right team they should be okay.

They need a Third wheel for sure! Based on the fact. That all they did was come twice a week to just talk. Joe constantly asked them to come with topics. Too maybe do another pod for the network. All parties are guilty. Joe for not being transparent and them for not bringing anything else as far as outside deals or responsibilities of the back expenses. But it's amazing. How now they want to do their own. When he was trying to build the network. All parties are completely guilty. Had a great combination and chemistry.

I like Rory & Mal, but I think the initial high level of support would fade to a small cult like fan base within 2-3 months. I think they should consider adding another person or two as well to try to create some different chemistry.

I suspect if they’re really doing a podcast, it won’t be like anything I’m reading in the comments.

I think Rory Mal, and Weezy (the podcast studio owner that they shot their response in) are up to something much different than your “typical” podcast.

Weezy is the key, in terms of the brains behind whatever they’re looking to put out.

I don't think they can. The only reason people watch was because of Joe. They can have a show but it won't be very big long. I didn't even finish etching the video about Joe.

I think they have enough visibility today to bring in the viewers. Now whether they can keep that audience is another question.
