Voldy wouldn't die from a dementors kiss cause the dementor would refuse to kiss him unless he brushed his teeth with a whole tube of Colgate which he won't ever do

What I want to know is. Did the process of creating a horcrux require a Demintor to suck out the peace of Voldemort's soul that he would then put into an object?
Cz as far as I know, a Demintor is the only way to get the soul or possibly a peace of a soul out of the body without killing the body. And we know that the Demintors allied with Voldemort. So Voldemort could have easily used them in the process.
Tho I guess there could also be a spell we don't know about that could do this as well.

I think you’re wrong about the whole “persistent vegetative state” thing. After all, wormtail had the dementors kiss and he still acted like a living human, he just no longer had his soul

it would actually be only one eighth of his soul. he intentionally created 6 horcruxes and then accidently created a 7th in Harry Potter which leaves only 1 eighth in his body.
