i'm on the "it's already sitting there on plain sight" team on this, i don't know if anyone has already said this, but there is something about tapes as physical media that happened back then (and if you still use them), sometimes they drop or rise the pitch a bit, depends on the deck and the song was ripped from an old tape, maybe re-recorded a few times, so maybe the pitch is off from the original version (it can happen and still sound good) and that's why Shazam can't find it, i have high hopes on this since most of us need a hobby during these weird times, if it's not the case, probably a one-off project with no other releases, that would start another search
