Orion is a great plugin. I did two sessions last night trying it on drums. I instantly was drawn to the FL inspired preset.

I got better results running this on parallel rather than inserting it on my drum-bus channel. I strongly suggest you try that.

I loved JJ’s drum chain, but I found it hard to control and balance. I got the free trial and this solves all my problems concerning drums. I’m buying it!

Color kinda feels like what the Shadow Hills does with the Steel, Iron and Nickel and Lift is the Black Box, Harmonics is RBass...

A/B on the compressor could be from the different transformers in Shadow Hills which is emphasizes the lows or the lowmids
