Karen's voice was one of a kind - and her passing at the age of 32 was a very sad day 😮‍💨on February 04, 1983. I was at work in El Segundo, California at the Chevron USA plant - and I heard the news...Karen Ann Carpenter: March 02, 1950 - February 04, 1983. The other members of the band all passed away too, but Richard is still alive - and he continues on. He's getting older, but he can still play that piano --- and I don't think a day passes without him thinking about his sister, Karen. Richard did the arrangements and also helped write some of their songs, even this song. Peace. I hope you will react to their song, "Superstar" - thank you. 🙂

It takes courage to try to mimic a voice as iconic as Karen Carpenter's, but you pulled it off. Well done, Kerry. I hope you remember my advice to keep working on that particular skill. You don't need to lose your charming accent to find work as an actress. You just need to be able to mimic an American accent in front of the camera. It worked for Margot Robbie, and it will work for you.
