I love the amount of passion and time you put into these training classes. They have been a source for me for the past several years and greatly appreciate the content!

Hi, firstly thank you both for all the efforts you do for the community users. I like to read the book at my own pace, which I read it as if you are teaching it!! and watch unplugged videos to gain the internals of DAX and tabular models. Happy to hear the announcements. All the best 👍 Thank you ❤

The pacing and depth of your videos is outstanding. I 100% always love to know the (gears, nuts and bolts) behind the scenes. Not yet subscribed but I will be :)

Books are like notes that we keep going back to recapitulate our understanding.

Amei a camisa do Alberto Ferrari. 😁 Mudando de assunto. Já comprei dois livros de vocês (The Definitive Guide to DAX e DAX Patterns.). Muito obrigado e continuem com esse trabalho incrível que estão fazendo.

Good to know even the masters have to look back at their own books when working.

Thanks for sharing and mixing up the content. And the incredible material you and your team put together.
I have a few of your courses and they are great. I'll have to wait for Christmas to get this one.

Regarding suggestions for a video, I would vote for an unplugged video about matrices and ways to examine query plans to understand how some types of hierarchies can smash the suggested 2sec time you suggest for good code. E.g. hierarchies created from two tables that do not share a direct relationship.
I read/heard somewhere that Vertipaq does not really like drilling down to detail level, it prefers aggregation, but it's interesting to me that although as a user it seems you are not running a query i.e. you're just expanding the options in the hierarchy it can take a long while to show the options.

Hello, thank you very much for all of your content, I've been working with Power BI for the last 5 months and you guys have been the greatest help I could've asked for.

Today I encountered a problem that I can't understand so perhaps you could help me a little. I'll replicate using Contoso model, I have this measure:

Sales All Customers = CALCULATE([Sales Amount], ALL(Customer[Name]))

I want this measure to return the total sales amount regardless of what Customer Name is filtered on a slicer. However, if I add a report-level filter on the Customer Key column that removes clients 1, 3 and 5, now the Sales All Customers measure changes whenever I filter a slicer with Customer[Name].

Why does this happen? Shouldn't the ALL() function still remove filters from the Customer[Name] column?

Where is the link to the book or the course?

Has anyone encounted an issue with the table containing their measure completely disappearing when loading data from a .pbit file (template) ?

I get an error on loading saying: All MEASURES This query does not have any columns with the supported data types. It will be disabled from being loaded to the model.... and if i select continue, the report loads without the ALL MEASURES table and all measure in that table are gone ?

This has only happened since the june update

Does anyone know whats going on and how to resolve it ?
PLEASE !!!
