Hi, Valentina. Great video. Just wanted to let you know that if you want to change the note from its original pitch, but also want it to sound natural, then just adjust the formant shift. If you go up, move up. If you moved the note down, move the formant down. When I'm working with a vocalist who isn't the best, I often create their harmonies that way. I'll copy the vocal to a new track and re-write the melodies in the editor. Formant shift comes in CLUTCH and even helps you avoid some phase issues. For me, I even use it when layering in a high or low octave. I have no problem with harmonies, but sometimes my low or high octave is out of range. I use formant shifting in this case to keep things natural. :)

I am an old man still recording and learning. This was immensely helpful and will improve my recordings. I really liked the way you presented the info and it was easy to understand. Awesome!!

Thank you for sharing this Valentina. I actually prefer Logic Pro x’s pitch correction tool over Melodyne. It is much easier and handy :) Please keep doing these videos you’re a blessing !

I watched half way and then ran to my computer and fixed all my recent recordings. I only ever used the plugin. This is a brilliant feature. Thanks.

Great video. This is a much better and smoother way to correct vocals than using the pitch corrector. Makes the vocals sound natural and not "processed".

This video showed me stuff I never knew about, I always thought pitch correction was a plug-in of some type. This gave me the confidence to post my first ever vocal cover. Thank you!

This was so helpful thank you! I kept outsourcing mix and noticed they were having trouble pitch correcting a few spots and realized I’m singing between notes in a lot of my songs. Such a cool thing to discover and great to know i can make corrections that best fit my music. Thank you!!

Thank you, I'm new on Logic and never thought I would need to tune vocals, some songs seem easy live but then challenging when recording
