It's insane how good autotune/melodyne is. It has saved me many hours in the studio, but I really wish people would learn how to sing their part. This guy could definitely nail that part if he practiced it some more.

This is one of the better autotune examples I've seen. He goes from sounding laughably bad to sounding almost commercial ready. Guessing he's not actually that bad of a singer though.

Thank god for this HONEST video. This is why I no longer give a fuck about karoke or any music, because i had to learn to sing without this... so I only go to bars where there is no pitch/pp on the soundboard. Life is too short to listen to cheating.

Idk if I already commented what I thought but sounds like greenday. Also there's something I hear in this and most modern music that I can best describe as what 0:45 kinda has going on but is present in all Ariana Grande songs. I've heard it in children's voices naturally as they speak and wish I could find out the name of this sound. It's such a nuance that likely, the world will never know!

People be making fun of his pre pitch correction singing, without even caring to comprehend how ludicrously difficult it actually is to successfully pull off high notes after high notes. He's still able to hit 'em, AND stay in key briefly, while these people would deadass squeak right in their first try. 🙏

My wife can't hold a tune in a bucket to save her life, but she just loves to sing.  I think this is great!  Not everyone is born with an ability to do something naturally, but we create technology to allow it.  I wouldn't deny someone born with bad eyesight a pair of glasses any more than this.  Fantastic!

yes well, on some karoke machines that have cheap mikes you can turn on an echo effect and not have to sing loud and depending on what song it is those who would not sound good suddenly can sound pretty good to good. it is a matter of finding the right setting and the right songs.
