As a American I have to say that I hold a great and deep respect for the Australians, they fight like devils and have the hearts of lions, hell even Mustafa Kemal Ataturk following there withdrawal from Gallipoli had nothing but praise for them. One battle that sticks out to me is the battle of Long Tan in Vietnam on which the Australians held out against a much bigger Vietnamese force and due to it Lyndon B Johnson (then president of the United States) gave them one of the highest honors a unit can achieve which was a Presidential Unit Citation

R.I.P to all those brave young men that never returned home. Your sacrifice WILL NEVER BE FORGOTEN. Thank you, from the UK.

Being English makes me proud of my nationality yet I always think of those who fought with us and the Anzac regiments were so brave and we should never forget them either

Back in 2018 I got to serve alongside the Diggers. I'm in the US Coast Guard and it was the first time Coasties served alongside the Aussies and traveled and lived on the HMAS Adalade to PNG. It will probably be the greatest moment in my USCG career.

My dad a Canadian war vet said that the Brits, Auzzies, and Canuck made one hell of a unified FIGHTING MACHINE! If not for them the war would have been lost ! God bless them all!

As an ANZAC WW1 (and WW2) relative: I'll say this:
I am Proud of My Aussie cousins, whom have stood so very steadfastly beside us Kiwis for so long and so-often.
Not an April 25th goes-by without me thinking of THEM:
Those who stood-to, and gave Their-all.
From the Boer Wars, to Gallipoli, from Paschendael to Viet-Nam, and into the modern era.

May THEY Ever-Be Remembered.

Lovely version of a lovely song made all the more poignant by the fact we have just lost the lovely Judith Durham of The Seekers.🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
