Don't throw the skin out. Here what to do with the skin, grind the green part out not to much, now in a pot put the skin add water and sugar boil it for 5 minutes, take the water out put the skin to dry on the sun, it becomes amazing candy

Many years ago, I used to work as a bartender at a restaurant/bar that would fresh squeeze citrus juices to order for any drinks that required them. Before a lunch shift one day, we realized that we were almost out of grapefruit. We sent this girl who was not the sharpest to go get grapefruit and she ended up coming back with three pomelos. She said she could not find grapefruit, but somebody in the produce department said that these are just like grapefruit. She thought it would be totally fine that she spent roughly about $30 for three of them but she found out that it was not OK when the manager made her take them back and go to another store to get an actual bag of grapefruits that only costs around six dollars to eight dollars for about 10 of them. 🤦‍♀️

1) Pomelos and oranges are only similar in that they're both in the citrus family. 2) Why does that pomelo have such hard, thick pith?!
